I have this boat. Hull is great. Merc is great.... 3 years lots of continued electrical problems. The decking they installed bleeds blue and peels. And Axopar doesn't seem to want to fix it. I wouldn't do it again.

The only thing faster than that boat is this dude talking. :D

This boat is a grand slam. Kudos for listening to your customers. The only engineering design flaw is the best seat on the bow. If a guest is sitting on that seat facing forward, the captain's view is blocked while driving.

Was never a fan of Axopar designs, and the ergonomics of the helm station actually look horrible now.

This boat is awesome. It would be cool if the Axopar 28/29 had twin 300’s instead of twin 200’s. My parents used to have a 2014 31 foot renegade boat. And it went 70 top speed. They now have since sold it and have the 2024 Axopar 28 which doesn’t go as fast because it only has twin 200 horsepower motors instead of twin 300’s like their older renegade has. It would be awesome if the Axopar 28/29 had twin 300’s because it would go a little faster than our old renegade because it’s a little bit smaller. The renegade boat was larger but not by much. @axopar

You are not only an amazing designer but also an excellent teacher/guide of the boat. This is perhaps the best presentation I have had in 50 years of boat interest.

I will be buying one of these new or secondhand together with my brothers once we are a bit older and have all finished studying. This seems like a great boat to drive on the Mediterranean or towards Norway. Thanks for building it and showcasing it in detail!

I know this is an older video but, as I am considering a new boat here on the southeast coast of the U.S.. I noticed that 1-2 wave hieghts quite a bit of hull slapping noise. Not sure if that was because the mic's were so sensitive or tthatas common for this type of a boat. Have not actually found any manufacturer vide's of how th boat is built but does anyone know how much foam is used in the boat??

Now it is perfect for the Mediterranean 😊 … I have seen and I love the 25, but this is a different level… Are you considering a wrap-around canvas enclosure for the cockpit and midship lounging area? it would be great for protection from dust and dirt at port, but also for occasional camping/overnighting in our mild climate…

Get rid of the soft top. Put a proper fiberglass roof with a couple of good hatches. Get rid of the ridiculous sinks-especially under the mate seat. Make the rear seats easily lifted for the rear cabin version. The front “cabin” is a better idea than the head on the 28 as that space was a joke. Not sure I would like to sleep over the toilet though. Bottom line - the idea of the boat is good. It performs well. Making it anything other than a day boat is not realistic for more than one, possibly two. I would get rid of the gimmicks that don’t function well and focus on performance- something it does well. Also improve build quality. My 28 was average at best.

45 Cross Top with aft sofa would be a perfect Southern California boat! Great for Catalina and offshore fishing.

I was hoping for a fore cabin and aft open air seating area, protected from the wind and sun by a sturdy bimini… where I boat (Aegean) one needs this protection. Something between a 25 cross top and a 37 sun top. 25 too small and not walkaround, and can’t afford a 37 or 45, sorry. Pity. Nice video though. Where are you with the Agapi boat club collab? have been eagerly waiting for the new locations.

Looks like a prototype. It’s supposedly a new design language but hull design is exactly same as a 28. Even says it on the side.
